Release Notes for Condres OS 2019.04
Today we are proud to release Condres OS 2019.03 with the flavours KDE, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, and Cryptosetup. They are enhanced with some useful packages and scripts, a brand new installer and a custom patched version of desktop and filesystem.
KDE Plasma stands at version 5.15.3, while GNOME comes in at 3.32
and Xfce at 4.12.4, while Cinnamon comes in at 4.0 and MATE at 1.22.0.
This release comes with the name “19.04”.
This release of Condres ships with Linux kernel 5.0.5 and 4.19.32, enabling us to provide support for AMD Picasso and Raven2 APUs, AMD Vega20 and broader Vega10 enablement, as well as improved support for Intel Coffee Lake and Ice Lake CPUs and Acer-predator-helios-500.
We added the possibility to execute the android code thanks to anbox within the kernel by default. In fact the primary image is automatically preloaded by the system with full support for the modules with the patch android-enable-building-ashmem-and-binder-as-modules.
In this new update we have solved many bugs that plagued previous ISOs. First of all we have to thank Jess Smith who pointed out that the autologin in the Mate, Cinnamon and XFCE editions didn’t work and other minor bugs but that compromised the usability of the system.

New Condres Control Center beta version. Removed the system tray in favor of octopi.
