Release Notes for Condres OS 2019.05
Today we are proud to release Condres OS 2019.05 with the flavours KDE, GNOME, Cinnamon, MATE, XFCE, and Cryptosetup. They are enhanced with some useful packages and scripts, a brand new installer and a custom patched version of desktop and filesystem.
KDE Plasma stands at version 5.15.5, while GNOME comes in at 3.32
and Xfce at 4.13.4, while Cinnamon comes in at 4.0 and MATE at 1.22.1.
This release comes with the name “19.05”.
This release of Condres ships with Linux kernel 5.0.14 and 4.19.34, enabling us to provide support for AMD Picasso and Raven2 APUs, AMD Vega20 and broader Vega10 enablement, as well as improved support for Intel Coffee Lake and Ice Lake CPUs and Acer-predator-helios-500.
As always with this rolling distribution, you will find the very latest packages for the Plasma Desktop, this includes Frameworks 5.57.0, Plasma 5.14.5 and KDE Applications 19.04.0. All built on Qt 5.12.3, Mate desktop switch to 1.22.1 version. Updated libreoffice to version 6.2.3 and added a new startup splash.
We added the possibility to execute the android code thanks to anbox within the kernel by default. In fact the primary image is automatically preloaded by the system with full support for the modules with the patch android-enable-building-ashmem-and-binder-as-modules.
In this new release we have added several improvements such as zsh enabled by default once the system is installed. In order for the chosen shell to work correctly, we made sure that zsh was enabled by default when the installation was complete.

Known issues:
- Installing on RAID is currently not possible
To create reliable installation media, please follow the instructions from the Download page. Condres OS ISO’s do not support Unetbootin or Rufus, and DVDs need a burn speed no higher than 4x.
